Safety Net Solutions: On-line Learning Center
The Problem
“Throughout the US, we meet so many individuals and groups who are working very hard to fulfill the needs of underserved patients in their communities. Some days, even the most experienced practitioner can feel overwhelmed and lonely -- as if he or she is the only one balancing the complicated challenges of serving patients and running an efficient dental office,” said Manny Molina, Safety Net Solutions’ Manager of Dental Informatics. “The Online Learning Center is our answer to the frustration we hear. It is a place to meet, to share ideas and to learn. And, the great thing is that you can do this without leaving your office.”
What We’re Doing
The SNS Learning Community is an online home for safety net dental professionals across the country. Tools and services available in the SNS Learning Center include:
- a growing library of information of special interest to safety net dental providers,
- a virtual ‘meeting room’ for conversations among safety net programs across the United States,
- online classes, and
- a secure portal for carrying on the work of Safety Net Solutions clients and their expert advisors.
SNS will also offer webinars and educational programming, a library of tools related to safety net oral health practice management, and opportunities for a variety of different kinds of one-on-one and group discussions, instant messaging, email and video conferencing.
