SNS Hosts Annual Expert Advisor Convening

The DentaQuest Institute’s (DQI) Safety Net Solutions (SNS) program hosted its annual Expert Advisor Convening in Boston last month, bringing together DQI staff and individuals from across the country that work as SNS expert advisors (EAs). Each year this convening serves as a platform for providing training and support to the EAs, sharing important updates about various SNS projects, and obtaining feedback based on their work in the field. This year’s topics included SNS client satisfaction survey responses, lessons from HRSA operational site visits, churning, EDR/EHR integration, billing and coding, RVUs, and payment and care delivery reform. The group spent two days sharing information and ideas that will lead to improved technical assistance and training services for all SNS clients.

Together the SNS team and their roster of EAs provide technical assistance to over 100 safety net dental programs annually. SNS appreciates the opportunity to partner with such an impressive group of people on working to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our nation’s safety net oral health care delivery system.
